Case study on Print Ads (layout)

Image
I am gonna introduce some advertisements today as the first post of the group. The criteria for selecting ads is just on me. All of sudden, I felt like doing this. Therefore, the ads on the post aren't necessarily creative enough for readers including even me. Print ad for Samsung GALAXY S8 Print ad for Samsung GALAXY S8 The two ads features the same smartphone GALAXY S8. The layouts of the ads, however, are different. The first one locates the phone in the bottom. The second one locates the phone in the middle. Aside from the contents in the copies, what impression can we get from the layouts? In my opinion, the first one focuses on the copy than the image the ad tries to deliver a message that the image itself can deliver to consumers. But the second one focuses on the image just to arouse consumer's curiosity implying it has a really good camera function. I believe difference of layout also perform an important role as much as a idea itself. Print ad for ...

Introduction about the contents, "Case Studies on Marketing Communication"

If Albert Einstein had grown up in the desert, would he have become the one to invent the theory of relativity? I beg to differ. An author, Tim Rettig says, "All creativity always depends on our existing knowledge and All learning requires some form of imitation". We need Imitation to achieve creativity because we are never as creative as we think we are. Therefore, learning about diverse and good MC cases is essential for a successful Marketer as it is important nourishment for creative marketing campaigns in the future. This is why I've decided to upload successful marketing campaigns all around the world. It is definitely going to be one of my cornerstones in my career as a Marketing Communication expert. It is always very welcome to give me an opinion about my contents and grammar mistakes. Thank you!

* Digital models The business world is changing faster than ever before. Whether business models, revenue models, communications models or buying models, old models are being replaced by new and revised models. before exploring the different models, what is a model exactly? There is a wide array of online revenue models for media owners to consider, from traditional CPM and fixed sponsorships through the upstarts CPC and CPA. With contextual advertising options available from the main search networks and with the growth of display ad networks, there a...

* Remix The digital world affects every aspect of business, every aspect of marketing and every aspect of the marketing mix. This chapter is about how the old marketing mix naturally integrates into the fast changing digital environment.  The traditional concept of the marketing mix is 4Ps (Product, Price, Place, Promition). But there were some arguments that 4Ps worked for products rather than services. As a result, 7Ps were developed and announced by Booms and Bitner in 1981. 7Ps include 3 more Ps (People, Physical evidence, Processes). which were considered to be crucial in the delivery of services. Since almost all products are becoming services (as more added value services are added online), this book explain the influence of the digital world on the marketing mix in terms of 7Ps. As I am not really familiar with 7Ps. I have extracted some brief  explanation  about them. (My opinion: whether it is 4Ps or 7Ps, definition o...

I started to read a book about digital marketing recently. Since I am trying to get the certificate GAIQ, I figured understanding the concept of digital marketing would be meaningful. As technology is developed, The importance of digital media is increasing. There is no denying that every marketer, at least good marketers, should be knowledgeable about digital marketing and media. This is why I chose the book. As it has over 500 pages, I am gonna choose key contents that I think is important and write a review so that I don't forget. * Introduction to digital marketing. Digital Marketing is also marketing. Just adding 'digital' in front of marketing doesn't change the essence of it. So, basically the whole digital process can be explained with SOSTAC(Situation Anlaysis, Objective, Strategy, Tactics, Actions, Control) like the way we use to develop a marketing plan. If the essence of digital marketing is not different from traditional marketing, what is ...
